Rock Room Concerts - the concerts are free for family and friends of the rock room musicians. The Rock Room provides an opportunity for musicians to experience being in a band and promotes life lessons of responsibility, compromise, tolerance, patience, confidence and accomplishment while the musicians grow and develop their skills.

Student bands showcase their new chops with a rockin free, fun, and family-friendly show! The Rock Room provides a unique opportunity for musicians to experience their dream of being a rock star and a starting point for a musical career.

Phil Zuckermans Rock Room student bands will perform five songs LIVE ranging from country to classic and modern rock. The musicians are aged 13 to 60+. Phil and his wife Linda also perform with some of the bands!

Phil Zuckerman offers lessons specializing in working with beginners! Phil Zuckerman offers lessons in The Rock Room location for guitarists of all ages. The atmospehere is fun and informative, letting the musicians select their musical choices and songs.

Individual lessons available for Guitar, Bass Guitar, electronic keyboard and Drums Call or email to schedule a free consultation ! New DVD - Learning Chords for Electronic Keyboard $10 Rock Room Band Quarterly Sessions ( beginning first week of the month ) End of session band concerts held on Sundays at Sweet Caroline's Restaurant in Winchester.

Band Classes Schedule : Winter - Dec. - Feb. Spring - March - May Summer - June - August Fall - Sept. - Nov

"My approach with beginners is to learn chords and strumming patterns using recordings of entry level popular songs. This is a practical approach since guitar players play chords most of the time. I can measure progress by reaching the goal of being able to play along with the recorded song. Once the student is proficient with open and power chords, they can begin learning songs that they want to learn which helps to keep them interested and motivated. From there, the student can select from other skills that they may be interested in. They also have the option of joining one of the Rock Room bands when they are ready.I do not teach classical style, shred or jazz guitar.
